Very well written article Kamal. I do agree regarding what you said especially having enough time for overworked doctors to recuperate, having the right attitude and work ethics, and should be the standard of care/work at each level involving all doctors, be it the most junior HOs up to the most senior Consultants. If this can be achieved, it would be a tremendous improvement in the quality of care and life of the patients, which have always been and forever will be our priority

I hope DKA won’t mind me answering on his behalf! Antares, while many may not agree with the underhanded tactics BN employed during the last GE, we have to accept that we now have a PM. He has after all been sworn in, has he not? I agree with DKA that we should move on as a nation. Even the opposition seems to accept their ‘victorious’ defeat. A tribunal? By the time you conclude the tribunal, it’ll be the next GE!

By addressing Najib Razak as PM are you not acknowledging him as the popularly elected leader of Malaysia? I seriously dispute that. I admire your politeness, Dr Kamal Amzan. However, BN had 5 years beginning 9 March 2008 to reform itself. It didn’t, in fact, it got much worse. BN has lost its legitimacy and no decent Malaysian should recognize it – at least not until after we have scrutinized the way BN conducted the last election. If the People’s Tribunal acquits BN of any wrongdoing, I shall be the first to congratulate Najib.
