Keep them away from our shores Mr Home Minister.

This is about a video someone forwarded me a few days ago.

A disillusioned father auctioning off his son, to kill other people by blowing himself up.

I think the word devil is more apt than father.

Every life is sacred, and is not ours to give or take. Which is why most religion view suicide and murder as a great sin. But to profit, and be worshipped from such an act has brought the whole nonsense to a new low.

Just to be clear, this is not Islam. In fact I don’t know what they are but they cannot be humans either.

It is scary to think about the many loons out there, who appear sane. With that in mind, I wonder if our borders are tight enough, and are manned by those whose love for the country outweighs their love for ringgit and sen. There is no point in having billions of ringgit worth of submarines, jet fighters and tanks if we let the ‘crazies’ into the country.

Even without them, we have enough to deal with on our hands. From those who dump their babies in toilets, stuff them in bags, to those who raise them and to only throw them out of a 5th floor condominium complex, Malaysians have seen enough. Our resources are already spread thin between them and those who snatch purses in parking lots, rape and rob senior citizens, to those more daring kidnapping and armed heists.

Peace is not something the authorities should take for granted, and a continuous effort is needed to ensure that peace within our borders is not just an illusion or a mirage, for the sake of a general election.

Reduction of crime must be felt by the public and not only manifested in numbers. Treat us as human beings, and not just as another statistic.

Do your job, and do it well please.

DKA.
